How it works
The basic concept is that all your WordPress Sites are controlled from one installation of WordPress. This mean you’ll need to use your control panel to point all your domain to the Master WordPress install directory.
WPSiteStack works by taking control of the WordPress configuration file (wp-config.php). This is where most of the WordPress setup information is contained. When WordPress loads WPSiteStack obtains the requested domain name and finds the domain in the domains file (this is the file you manage with our interface) and sets the WordPress configuration to the values set in the domain file. The values in the domains file control which table prefix to use (this is what lets you use the same database for more than one site)
- Which database will be used
- Sets a different content folder (this is the directory which holds your themes, plugins, and uploads are installed)
